The supervisor was pleasant, helpful over the phone, and easy to reach. When I checked out, staff handed my RM50 deposit straight back to me. The room itself felt expensive for such basic facilities. The toilet bidet and sink drained very slowly, the water heater wasn’t working properly, and even set to 26°C the air conditioner didn’t get very cold. The blanket was thin and rough on my skin. The iron and cuckoo water dispenser were outside the room; there was no fridge, and the only TV option was YouTube. On the positive side, the Qibla direction was marked. Please fix these things and improve the service.

Dungun town gets quiet at night, though food places and attractions are fairly close by. The hotel is very basic, with a sparse room and weak air conditioning. Mine faced the sun and got hot. The shower gel looked old and dirty, and there’s no lift.

The facilities were good and the room comfortable. There’s a swimming pool and golf you can use freely, plus a pub, though I never really considered going there 😛. Breakfast and the menu were perfect, and there’s plenty to try. Shame there wasn’t a TV in the room. It takes about 1 hour from KLIA.

It’s easy to get into town, and the room was quiet and cool. The room itself is very simple: no fridge, and no iron that I could see, though it may be available on request. The kettle is kept outside the room, parking costs extra, and the TV only has basic channels.

It’s a nice place to stay, though the floor was a little dusty. Bathroom water pressure was low but still acceptable, and no soap was provided.
