For the price, this hotel is a good deal. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and you can walk to both Chinatown and Bukit Bintang. The room looked a little worn, but it did the job.

Parking was the biggest hassle. There’s no dedicated hotel parking, and the lot nearby charges RM5 for the first hour, RM5 for the next, then RM10 at night. It’s ridiculously expensive, though there’s a much cheaper lot behind the hotel. My deluxe queen room was tiny and felt very budget, and they didn’t replace the water bottle after I checked in. I could hear bins being dragged around loudly day and night. The hotel also had lots of foreign guests.

At checkout around 6:30 in the morning, the man wasn’t at the counter at first. When he came over, I said I needed to leave quickly to catch a coach at BTS, but he insisted on checking the room. I waited on the sofa for at least 5-10 minutes. Then he slowly counted the RM50 deposit notes and checked them very carefully, while I was rushing to get to my transport. He finally gave the deposit back and I hurried out of Sakura Ellite Hotel. I was very upset by his attitude and felt he was playing tricks on me. Please make sure staff treat customers better.

The breakfast was good, and they even gave me a cute prayer mat 🤍. We had a peaceful, cozy stay at Sakura elite, with really welcoming and friendly staff.

We booked a room without windows but ended up with one that had a window, hihihi. The staff were so nice, and I’d definitely stay here again.
