Coastal Bay Dungun Staycation

The view alone would bring me back, and the area was clean. It felt tucked away, but not too unsettling to go out at night. The room was spacious enough and the toilet was clean. The amenities were basic, which was fine. The only small issue was a loose door knob that made the room door hard to open. Otherwise, superb. A great place to unwind away from the busy city.

The rooms are small but adequate, and they come with a kettle, fridge, and iron. There’s a little cafe in the lobby. It serves cookies and drinks, plus fried rice, nasi lemak, and snacks for breakfast. There’s only one nearby restaurant, about two minutes away, and Dungun is around 15 minutes away. Outside gets dark at night, so the place can feel isolated. Two abandoned houses sit just outside the fence, about 30 metres from my room, and the rooms listed as having a garden view face those houses.

The hotel sits right in front of the beach, with a really nice view. I stayed a few days ago and had a pleasant experience. The room and service were great. It’s a good place, and I’d recommend it.

The rates are reasonable, and the rooms and toilets are spacious. Everything was clean, tidy, and well maintained during my stay. It’s a bit far from Dungun’s urban area, which I liked.
