Teluk Lipat Seaview Inn

The hotel is along the beach with plenty of places to eat nearby, and the price is fair. The room was old but clean. There’s no escalator or lift for heavy luggage, but it’s only one floor, so manageable.

The location is very strategic, with plenty of parking and it felt safe. Staff were friendly, and the room was fairly clean. The lighting was awful, though, with cables sticking out from the TV and air conditioner.

The only decent thing is the location, close to restaurants with student prices because it’s near uitm dungun. The room was dirty, there were lots of mosquitoes, and the instant coffee had expired a month earlier. There was no signboard, and what looked like the lobby was actually the owner’s car part. Guests had to park in the open to unload luggage in heavy rain. Nobody was on standby when we wanted to check out. Don’t choose seaview if you’re a light sleeper, the room isn’t soundproof, and the view isn’t worth a penny. It’s kind of expensive for a budget hotel with such poor service. Maybe being near uitm is the only reason it’s survived. If they don’t improve, they’ll bungkus.

The missing basics matter at this price: there's no elevator, mini fridge, pool, or TV reception, and no covered walkway for unloading luggage when it rains. I’m not being stingy, I just expect to get what I’ve paid for. For me, the rate should be half. Whether it’s worth it is up to you.
