We paid around 300+++, but the room felt like a cheap street-side budget hotel. It was dirty and smelled bad, with a strong toilet odor greeting us in the morning instead of fresh air. Insects kept us company through the night, and the bedsheet was damp and unpleasant-smelling. The water heater didn’t work, and the water wasn’t even hot enough to make instant noodles. The whole stay felt like being in a terrible movie. I’ll never come back and strongly advise against booking this place.

The room was superb and had all the necessities for guests. Check-in was a little tricky, even though I appreciated getting some helpful heads-up messages. The drive up Genting Highlands climbs into the clouds, and the weather can change quickly. Passing clouds bring fog and rain, so drive carefully. This place is a bit farther from Skypark, which makes getting around there a hassle if you don’t drive, though there is a shuttle bus to Skypark. I wouldn’t mind coming back.

We paid 700 for a room with a balcony and nothing else. Construction work spoiled the view, and the noise was unbearable, so we couldn’t have dinner on the balcony as planned. You’d be better off at the hotel in the same building. It’s half the price, includes breakfast, and has a more comfortable bed. I’d never return. Complete rip-off.

The best part is the free cup noodles, milk, and cereal. There’s also a minimart selling soju and beer. If you’re in tower 7, your room faces a building under construction, which could get in the way of the view. There may be bugs around the balcony because of the location.

The misty clouds drifting near the balcony were the best part of the mountain view. It’s a peaceful, splendid place to stay, and I’d recommend trying the room for that view alone. Thanks to sky dmont for the great service.
