The price is low, the receptionist is nice, and the location is good, so those are the only reasons for the stars. For 5-10RM more, you can get much better conditions in chinatown or little india. The room was tiny: with two beds, there was only 0.5m to the wall on one side and just a few centimeters more by the door, so I couldn’t even get a photo. Worse, it wasn’t clean, with an oil stain on the sheet and pillow. We were on a budget trip and only slept there.

The hostel is really cheap and decent, and the staff were great, friendly, and helpful. There was always someone in the lobby to talk to, and they made sure everyone was having a good time. Just be aware there may be a few bugs in your room.

The hostel’s location is perfect, and AC is included for a very good price. Little India, the local food street, and an area with bars and a disco are all a few minutes away. Don’t expect fancy facilities or surroundings. The bathroom is very simple, but I’m used to that, so it was okay for me. If you don’t have high requirements for the accommodation, this is a really good choice.

It’s in the centre of Georgetown, close to love lane, so the location is what earns the stars. At 60MYR a night, the price didn’t feel that low for the area. It might be okay for a solo backpacking guy, but it isn’t the cleanest place. The plasterboard walls offer no privacy at all.
