House of Journey

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I can’t recommend this hostel enough. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and really social. There’s always something going on, whether it’s a planned activity or just hanging out in the common areas. If you get the chance, do the motorbike tour, it was unreal. I’ll definitely come back sometime. Love you HOJ ❤️

The hostel is in a great spot, with really delicious food all along the street. I stayed in the four-bedroom room with friends, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and the community was great, with lots of places to relax and hang out. I especially loved the rooftop views. They turned off the AC from 11 till 6.

I kept extending my stay because the staff and volunteers did such a great job. I felt safe, entertained, and met cool people. The facilities might not be the best, and there aren’t curtains and the walls are thin, but I still slept really well. It’s highly recommended if you want to be on a journey, meet other people, and join great events and tours. If you expect strong sound isolation or a recent renovation, this place won’t meet those expectations.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The volunteers and staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is super social. Rooms and bathrooms are basic and don’t have curtains, but with the vibe here it doesn’t really matter.
