George Town is easy to explore on foot from this hotel, and the rooms are roomy and neatly decorated. We booked two nights with breakfast, but the service made the stay frustrating. Our first room had cockroaches. One large one ran out from under the bed when we arrived. The housekeeper laughed and seemed unconcerned, only removing it after we asked. Another came out from under the bed later, so we were moved to a different room, which thankfully had none. The owner’s service was almost nonexistent. The front desk was rarely staffed, so we had to call him for help, and he speaks little English. On the first morning, the housekeeper and owner seemed confused about breakfast but did provide it. On Sunday morning, everything was still locked and there was no staff. We waited a while, then realized breakfast wasn’t coming. We also saw a group unable to check in because nobody was there. We’re glad we got a discounted rate, since we’d have been more upset at full price. The hotel could be great, but the owner needs to improve customer service. Best of luck.

The room was spotless and new, with a comfortable bed, hair dryer, kettle, safe, toiletries, and passkey entry. The hotel locks its doors at 8pm, like a family home, but you can still get in with the passkey. The reception decor is a bit chaotic, with mismatched murals and furniture, and there isn’t really a proper reception desk. I understand that there are only eight rooms. It was very clean, though. The location is right among the street food, with loads of choices within 200 metres. Excellent.

We switched here at the last minute after finding our other booking dirty, and ended up loving the stay. The place and room were extremely clean, and the lady looking after it was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I saw her wiping the furniture all the time. The lobby is nicely decorated, with drinks and ice cream for sale. It’s quite new, everything’s in good shape, and the TV even has Netflix. The central location puts attractions and restaurants around Georgetown within walking distance, yet it stays quiet. Sometimes you can hear another guest showering through the pipes, but it didn’t bother us. Definitely recommend it, 10/10. I’d happily come back anytime! ❤️ Much love!

Really clean and very quiet, with hot water, cool AC, and comfy beds. There are excellent coffeeshops and restaurants nearby. The only thing I missed was a small fridge. Just book, it’s the best and newest option around!

The bed linen had saliva stains, and they didn’t have a spare set to replace it. The place wasn’t clean.
