The room was spacious and comfortable, with a microwave, dining utensils, and even a stove. It was well maintained and fairly clean. The hotel is mainly a place to rest, without facilities such as a pool or restaurant, but we were happy with it. Syaiful was kind, responsive, and very helpful, and we felt well looked after. You can walk to restaurants, souvenir shops, supermarkets, malls, and tourist spots from this central location. There are popular food places right nearby, including Roti Bakar Hutton Lane in the morning, Sup Hameed at night, and Penang Road Laksa and a halal dim sum place across the street. There’s also a popular breakfast spot opposite. One suggestion: please add the hotel’s contact number to the Google Business profile. Guests sometimes run into problems with online travel agents, and being able to contact the hotel directly helps build trust and confidence.

Saiful and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay more comfortable. Our room at Loke Thye Kee Residences was clean, cozy, and nicely designed, with a lovely heritage feel. It’s also well placed for cafes, attractions, and popular local spots in Penang. We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

Parking is on the roadside, and I found a spot behind the building near the mosque. Parking apps is Penang Smart Parking. Masjid Titi Papan is also within walking distance. For food hunting, the location works really well. Makan Pagi is just across the road, and you can walk to Komtar, Roti Bakar Hutton Lane, Chowrasta, Ais Tingkap, and the famous cendol. Saiful was helpful too. Just text him if you need something like wifi access or an iron, and request the iron early when you check in.

Jawad’s care and professionalism really shaped our stay. He regularly checked that we were happy, paid attention to the details, and made us feel as if we were at a 5-star property. It’s rare to meet someone so committed to guests’ comfort. The room was spotless, nicely prepared, and welcoming each time we came back. From our arrival, Jawad went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. It may be a 3-star hotel, but his service made the experience feel far above that. I’d give extra stars for his hospitality and recommend the hotel.
