Gleneagles Hospital was close enough that I walked there. The receptionist was kind, helpful, and cooperative. Most things were fine, though the area under the bed needs cleaning because there was a lot of dust, and some curtain hooks were hanging loose instead of being properly installed. Best wishes to Mansion One Suites By Merlene for the future, and I hope they keep up their good service.

Shops and restaurants are nearby, and the location was convenient. My room at Mansion One Suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view at night. The staff were friendly and check-in went easily. I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.

For medical visits, the location works well: Gleaneagles, Loh Guan Lye, and Adventis are close. Gurney, with its mall and beach, is about a 10-minute drive away. Pulau Tikus Market and its hawker stalls are roughly five minutes by car or an 18-minute walk. There’s also a 15% Starbucks discount. The studio, I think around 30 m2, is big enough for four. It has two queen beds, a sofa, dining set, two AC units, two ceiling fans, a washing machine, kitchen appliances, a fridge, and a TV. They supplied four towels and one bottle of body soap. For the price, it’s good value in Penang. Service is pretty bare: no drinking water, breakfast, pool, room service, toothbrushes, toothpaste, or shampoo. You have to take out your own rubbish, and the front office was slow to respond.

Jothi and Usha were especially helpful, and the staff were friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, and roomy enough for three people. The bathroom was surprisingly large and had a fixed washing machine, which was handy. At this reasonable price, I’d gladly stay again.
