My room was peaceful and quiet, with good soundproofing in the “quiet zone.” It was clean and bright, and unlike other capsule rooms where you can’t stand up, this one had room to stand. There was a small table and chair too. You enter with a QR code instead of a physical key. The toilets were clean and spacious, with strong hot showers and a bidet. The odd downside was that there was no toilet paper. It’s inside Qlip hotel on level 1, but there’s no sign outside, so I had trouble finding it. Check-in at reception was slow in my case because the receptionist seemed new and was still learning, but I hope he improves. It was really worth the price, and I might stay again when I’m in the area.

I spent a month at Napzbox and had a great stay. Everything was clean, tidy, quiet, and stocked with what you need for capsule hotel living. The bedding was clean and comfortable, it stayed cool, and the price was nice and cheap. People were friendly, it was quiet, and amenities were easy to access. There’s QR code entry to the room, plus a shower and slippers. The small kitchen and study area meant I didn’t have to go to a coffee shop to work. Highly recommend!

The host Eunice was so sweet. She made me a chocolate drink that tasted like cendol, it was that exotic. I realized I was going to fall for her and ran away, but it was too late... so I went floating in the forest city nearby, where people were taking Instagram photos until 3 am. For the same price, this beats staying in a hostel. There’s privacy, a delicious double bed, and it’s so tempting to sleep all day on your day off. The place was clean and fully air-conditioned. You get into the room with a QR code, so no keys to carry. There are big showers with hot water, a pantry, places to sit and eat, and one spot with a TV where you can choose what to watch. Booking online is cheaper than walking in. Take the lift from the Qliq hotel lobby to the first floor.

I paid in full for a single room on 26 November for a 3-4 January 2026 stay. When I checked in on 3 January, staff told me the room wasn’t available because of a colleague’s mistake. They made me pay extra for a double room and clearly said I’d get no refund if I refused. Since it was late and I was in a rush, I had no choice but to pay. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Why should a guest have to pay for a staff error? It felt like extortion. The issue isn’t the money. It’s the lack of accountability, poor management, and terrible service. They claim to suit solo travelers, but I’ll never return and would warn others to think twice before booking. One of the worst check-ins I’ve had.
