The front office manager let my 70-year-old mother revisit memories of coming here as a 15-year-old with her father. That was very kind. It’s a quiet, modest hotel, conveniently across from New World hawkers Center for a good meal. For future guests, please be understanding of any shortcomings. The building is over 150 years old and has plenty of history and legends.

This motel has been around for at least 40 years, and not much has changed over that time.

I came back for a second visit. It’s affordable and has the basics, including a bed with clean sheets and a newly refurbished toilet. There’s local food just across the road, which is great.

The hotel had a strange vibe, but it was alright. Some of the sheets and blankets were stained.
