We got a warm welcome from the staff, who also gave us useful tips for discovering Georgetown and Penang. The hotel is in a beautiful building, too.

What I liked: the staff were friendly, the food street and pasar are within walking distance, and the air conditioning worked well. But the toilet was very dirty, the bed sheets smelled, and even the biggest room felt tiny. There was no hairdryer or parking, and the TV channels were blurry with no Astro. At 168 per night, I didn't feel it was worth the price.

Each room has its own look and the price is affordable. It's very basic, and the room is compact, really just somewhere to sleep. Good for backpackers.

Very disappointing. The room was smelly and dirty, with damaged flooring and a damaged window covered with paper. The service and wifi were bad, and there was no parking reserved for guests. Not worth what I paid.

There are lots of street food places around, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It's a nice place to stay, and my mother liked it there too.
