The room quality and service were unacceptable. Our corner room had broken lights and a broken door guard, and the whole place smelled strongly of paint and looked run-down. The bed linens didn't fit the bed, and we were given a duvet cover with no duvet. The location near Padang Kota Lama was convenient, but the stay was disappointing. Avoid the hotel until the renovations are finished.

We checked out as soon as we could, after just 30 minutes in the room. The pictures on Agoda looked nothing like what we got. There was no TV, a bed spring had popped out, the brownish duvet cover had no insert, the soap had already been used, the lamp didn't work, and the curtain wouldn't work properly. I can't imagine trying to sleep there. We got our deposit back but not the tourism tax. This was a total disaster and felt like a scam. The place doesn't deserve even one star, and it shouldn't be marked as 4 star on Google. Take down the pictures because they don't show what it's really like.

The blankets were so thin I could freeze, and the lights didn't work and had mold. The room was a deluxe suite, but there was nothing deluxe about it. We nearly got electrocuted by the iron. I asked for another, and they said there wasn't a spare because every guest had taken one. What hotel has no backup irons? Honestly, this didn't feel like a hotel, more like a budget place worth only RM50. A 4 star hotel shouldn't give this kind of service. RM152 for a stay like that wasn't worth it. I've had better rooms in budget hotels.

I couldn't feel comfortable for a moment during this stay. The mattress was broken, the bed was awful, and the furniture was very old. After we complained about the first room, the staff moved us from the 3rd floor to the 2nd, but that room was still smelly. The first one had smelled terrible too, and the whole hotel had a bad odor from the moment we arrived. The first room also had a broken ceiling and an AC that didn't work properly, leaving the bed wet. The towel and soap were half-used and disgusting. When we called reception, the man insisted the towel was clean, which was a lie, and didn't apologize. It was unhygienic and completely unacceptable. Then, as we were leaving, a staff member shamelessly asked us for tips. I was speechless. We booked through Agoda because the photos looked good, but the place was nothing like them. I'm shocked it's still in business and gets good Agoda reviews. This hotel is a complete scam.
