For solo travelers or a longer stay, this felt like a friendly family place. The price was fair and the location was ideal. It isn’t a hostel setup, but a small private room with AC, and there are 3 showers with toilets. I stayed 3 weeks and didn’t see any bed bugs. The bedding looked a bit old, but I saw them wash it regularly during my stay.

The host was really friendly, and the place has a lot of character. I slept well in the double room at the back, which had an en-suite. The TV didn’t work and the WiFi was unreliable, but it was good value. There were interesting people coming through, and I made a few friends while I was there.

The owner was very nice and gave me good advice. The walls are thin, though people are considerate. The showers could have been cleaner. My windowless room was very quiet, except on Saturday, when Georgetown was having fun until 23. I enjoyed my stay.

We had no problems at all during our 3 days here. It was clean, convenient, and reasonably priced, right in the middle of the pretty town with everything walkable. The homestay also had a mirror, hooks, AC, shared toilets, free water, a library, and a lovely veranda common area. Such a lovely place 😊
