The balcony upstairs is roomy, though sometimes there was an unpleasant pee smell there. Inside, the place was fairly clean, but a bit old (186), and parts of the wall were broken. The building didn’t seem well maintained. The kitchen also gets very hot in the afternoon because its roof is transparent. The supplies were a plus: a microwave, plenty of mineral water, a hairdryer, TVs in both the living room and bedroom, good-quality towels, tissues, and regular body wash and shampoo (2 in 1). One bedroom pillow had a slight smell, maybe from humidity or not being cleaned enough. The staircase is extremely narrow. My dog is used to stairs, but it was too narrow for him to place a foot properly vertically, so he wouldn’t walk up or down. We had to carry him, which was a hassle. The only toilet is upstairs in the bedroom, too, so it could be a real challenge for elderly family members or anyone with leg or knee problems, almost a “Mission Impossible.” It might suit younger people without mobility issues, and a dog that’s large or brave enough for those stairs. You’d also have to be able to sleep through the noise, which was extremely noisy. Thanks!

The location worked well, with famous spots within walking distance and legal parking along the lane. The owner was responsive and flexible about check-in times, and the security PIN door felt reassuring. We had a pleasant stay with several friends. The AC units were good, the TV worked, and the beds were clean and comfortable. A comfortable, cozy place, and a good experience for me, 4/5 Stars.

We ended up staying a full week after first booking four nights because the apartment suited us so well. The bedroom blinds block the sun so effectively that we kept sleeping much later than usual. Finding the property and getting ourselves in was simple, thanks to clear instructions. Just keep in mind the steps up to the bedroom and bathroom are quite steep, so it may not work for anyone who struggles with stairs.

The location in Georgetown is great, and you can get mamak food easily. The entrance is down a back lane beside a mamak stall; at night, the tables block it, but the staff kindly made room for us. Noise late at night or early morning could bother some people. I stayed one night. The place was just okay and definitely needs refurbishing. With some work, it could be a great place to stay, and I’d consider coming back if it were fixed up.

The living room was comfortable, and there’s room for 4-6 people. The location is great.
