Tropicana 218 Suites

We stayed as a family for 5 Days 4 Nights, from 3 March to 7 March 2026. The whole unit on level 25 had a super great view, and the living room was spacious. The rooms were great, and having a washing machine made it easy to do laundry. There’s also a convenient stall and vending machine below the apartment. One issue with the shared bathroom: the shower head was too high for shorter people to reach, and it couldn’t be adjusted.

The rooms and facilities were okay, and the place was clean. It might be time to change the water filter. Some visitors are elderly and not so modern savvy, so I hope the service contact can be more patient and polite. Parking was inconvenient because you have to circle quite high up. At night it wasn’t bright enough, and I’m not sure how adequate the carpark security is.

The city and sea views from the large infinity pool were fabulous, and the pool was good for swimming lengths. There’s also a small, well equipped gymnasium. I had a spacious one bed appartment with a well appointed bathroom and kitchenette. Great homestay.

I liked the breezy swing area on the 11th floor, where I spent my free time even though I couldn’t use the facilities. The apartment on the 30th floor had two beds, each with its own bathroom, plus a kitchen and washing machine, so the room itself was comfortable. There’s a gym and swimming pool, but the rules are quite strict. I didn’t really mind that. The security staff weren’t the best, though. I felt a bit like I was being scolded for bringing drinks and not wearing shoes to the gym. Maybe it was just the accent or facial expression, I’m not sure.
