For a short visit, the room is decent. It’s quite compact, so I wouldn’t recommend it as much for a longer stay. The room was clean, though there’s room to improve, and the toilets seem to have waterproofing problems. I liked that there’s a lift despite the building being only two storeys. Restaurants and a mall are nearby.

The room was a good size and comfortable. My concern was the hotel’s position at the back of the building. There’s no hotel guard, especially at night, so I felt the safety of guests and cars parked on the premises could be at risk.

The lobby was hot because the air conditioning was broken, and the room was small with poor soundproofing. It felt like a management problem, and I won’t stay again. I was there on 26/9/2025, and they wouldn’t let me check in even eight minutes early. Parking is open and paid, but the helpdesk didn’t tell me that important detail.

The staff were courteous at check-in and check-out, and housekeeping did a good job keeping things clean. The room was a little cramped: I could have used another foot or two to pray comfortably, since I had to crouch a bit. Parking is public and shared with people who aren’t staying at the hotel, so I had to circle around a few times before finding a spot. Remember to pay the local municipal parking fee. There are plenty of food stalls just a few metres away, as well as a good mamak behind the hotel. It’s an affordable place to spend a night while travelling to Ipoh.
