We liked how easy it was to get around from here, with restaurants nearby and tourist spots within reach. The room was clean, with shampoo, shower gel, and toothbrushes provided. Our family suite was roomy and comfortable, though it had no window. It stayed quiet at night, so we slept well. There’s no lift, but the hotel only has two floors, which was manageable. Parking is public and nearby, with plenty of spaces. Finding one may be harder in the morning during working hours, but at night it wasn’t a problem. The hotel covers the parking cost, which is a nice bonus. A convenient place to stay, and one I’d recommend.

The stay at Art cottage hotel on 27/12/2025 was very good, and the housekeeping staff were really friendly. I appreciated that. At check-in, though, I had a disappointing interaction with a front office staff member named ATI. I asked a few questions about the hotel, but she was rude and didn’t handle guests in a friendly way. She didn’t smile, either. I haven’t encountered front office service like that before, and it put me off visiting again. She needs to change her behaviour. Apart from that, everything was very good. 🙂🙂

There were lots of restaurants within walking distance, so finding something to eat was easy. The area around the hotel was pleasant, too. Inside, everything was spotlessly clean, and I liked the bathrooms with their separate wet and dry sections. The soundproofing worked very well, which made the stay comfortable. Staff were polite and efficient, and the rates were reasonable. I enjoyed my time here and would happily stay again.

There’s a big choice of restaurants nearby, especially Korean places, though other kinds are available too. aeon kinta mall and Lotus shopping centre are within walking distance. The location really worked for me, and for the price it was a lovely stay. I’ll stay here whenever I come to Ipoh again. The receptionist was so friendly, I loved that. The listing says parking is public, but each time I wanted to park there was an open space in the area. They provide amenities, and the room is a little soundproofed as well.

The room was okay and the shower was nice. This is a Chinese area, though, so there’s no halal food around unless you go to Lotus.
