Ban Loong Hotel

I’ve stayed at Suria hotel for a month as a regular customer from KL and spent around RM4000, but they chased me out, saying there was an online booking. I later found out that this was the manager’s instruction. When I asked to have my room cleaned over the past three days, nobody seemed to care, and staff said it was the manager’s issue. Everything else was very good, but manager Tony was rude and disrespectful to customers and didn’t know how to manage them. I feel he is racist and against the Indian community. I’m very disappointed and will make an issue of this. He isn’t suitable for a manager, and I hope disciplinary action is taken against Mr.Tony.

We enjoyed our short trip and the room service was nice. The room, bathroom, and surroundings were clean, parking felt safe, and the price was affordable. It seems suitable for a family vacation, with shoplots nearby including Mr.Diy, groceries, and other convenience shops. The A/C wall switch was locked and couldn’t control the unit, but the technician came right away and gave us an A/C remote. Highly recommended for people living in Ipoh City.

The TV channels wouldn’t open for us, though YouTube worked, so I’m not sure if there was a problem with the television. They have a water dispenser and ironing board, and you can ask the counter for an iron. There’s no lift, just one level up by stairs. The staff were good and check-in went smoothly. I liked the room, though closing the door took extra effort 😆. It’s near AEON, fast food chains, and other places to eat, all under a 10-minute drive.

For a last-minute booking at the end of the year, it was nice to find an affordable room available. It was tidy, clean, with freshly painted walls and a fancy bathroom sink and bowl. Hot water was available and the TV worked well. There was a little dust on top of the bed, but I can forgive that since I arrived very late. The family room was a bit tight for four beds, with one queen and a double-decker.
