Fresh Hotel Falim

There are restaurants in the hotel and a massage centre nearby. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and fairly well maintained. It’s a cozy, relaxing spot to unwind after tiring trips.

I booked two rooms through booking.com and got an email saying the property was preparing them. I also told them I’d arrive late, around 8 or 9 pm. My car broke down about five minutes from the hotel, so I tried calling several times but couldn’t get through. I emailed instead, and they acknowledged it and said they could guarantee me a parking spot. After changing the tyre, I arrived more than an hour later. The receptionist, an Indian lady, then told me all the rooms were booked and they hadn’t known about my request. They said booking.com didn’t deal directly with them and that the email messages weren’t from hotel staff, but from booking.com. It was completely messed up. I had to find another hotel in the middle of the night and was lucky to get one about five minutes from fresh falim hotel. The service was bad. They shouldn’t list themselves on booking.com if they can’t handle customer requests. The receptionist didn’t try to help, just said there were no rooms, they didn’t know about any request, and goodbye.

I was unhappy with the stay, and the price didn’t feel worth it. The room was quite old, and the listing never said it had no window. I wouldn’t have booked it if I’d known. There was also a misunderstanding about the bed: the person in charge said the double deluxe had a king-size bed, so we thought it could fit our kids.

This was the worst low-cost hotel I’ve tried. I booked through booking.com, but the receptionist said they hadn’t received it. I tried Agoda.com and got the same response, along with a claim that there were no rooms left if I booked online. Yet when someone came in to book in person, suddenly a room was available. It feels like this hotel is damaging booking.com and Agoda.com’s reputations. If you’re booking online, I’d avoid this place.
