The view from the room was nice, with houses and mountains, and the hotel is well placed near town with plenty of parking. The rooms and bathroom were old, though, and the stained blankets, sheets, and towels put me off. I only stayed one night at a cheap hotel, so I didn’t expect much. The water heater also didn’t work at night, maybe because too many people were using it at once.
The washer and dryer were a nice bonus, and there was clean water to refill bottles. Showers had plenty of hot water, the staff were friendly, and the location had lots of parking with an easy walk to the city centre. It was inexpensive, but the building was filthy, with rubbish around, and bedding stored on the staircase, which seemed like a fire hazard. Smoking was constant in my room from early morning until late evening, and loud gym music went on downstairs until late. I had no toilet paper or Wi-Fi, the room wasn’t cleaned during my four days, and the TV didn’t work. The air conditioner was barely functioning, and there was no kettle or fridge. I was locked out of my room for no reason; after it was fixed, nobody apologized or explained. You have to leave the hotel to get food or coffee.
The room was spacious, the air conditioner worked well, and there was shower gel and hot water. Parking is available in front and in the basement, and the staff were very friendly. The entrance isn’t wheelchair accessible. But the hygiene was really bad: cockroaches were all over the room, and the blanket, pillowcase, mattress cover, and white towels were dirty. The towels looked light grey and needed a proper wash. The pillows should be replaced too. I wasn’t expecting luxury for what I paid, but basic cleanliness matters. I’ve stayed at another OYO before and had a very pleasant experience, so I expected more from something called “SUPER OYO”.
The shower had strong pressure, the toilet seemed in good condition, the air conditioner blew hard, and the floor appeared clean. The hotel itself is small, though, and cockroaches ran around while everyone was asleep. There was no drinking water bottle. Wallpaper was torn, the wall paint was brittle and peeling, and the hallway felt spooky. The room and toilet lighting were poor, the bright red OYO pillow looked unwashed, and the smell was unpleasant. If you accidentally breathe it in, it might upset your stomach.
I stayed for one night. The room was clean, and a towel was provided, though it seemed old. The air conditioning and water heater worked fine. My room was missing the extra door lock, none of the TV channels worked, and the bathroom sink leaked a little.
