For the price, this was a surprisingly good stay. We spent one night in the cheapest room, which was clean, bright, and spacious. The bathroom and shower were good, there was hot water, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It also had a built-in desk, an open wardrobe, and cold air conditioning. The location is right in the middle of Ipoh's tourist spots, with food and a convenience store easy to find. There's basement parking for cars and a separate place for motorbikes. The tradeoffs in my room were no TV, no window, and fewer power outlets, but those were acceptable given the price and the good points.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was great value. Getting to the car park was easy. Staff were always around and happy to help, and even the security guard was friendly.

I didn't feel safe staying here. The lobby car park is dark, narrow, and has no lighting. My car was aggressed. When I asked to see the CCTV after it happened, I was told I'd only be able to view it the next afternoon. They said there was no movement in the car park, and the hotel washed its hands of responsibility. Looking back at the incident, it seems to me the management may have been involved in making this happen and clearing the evidence. For your safety, stay away from this hotel.
