Getting parking wasn't convenient, and I ended up on the 7th floor. The first room had water leaking through the washroom ceiling, a broken water heater and WiFi that connected without internet. We changed rooms, but the replacement had a leaking pipe, a bathtub without a cover, cement marks on the wall and a slanted bathroom door. There were ants everywhere, no slippers, and the shampoo looked left over from previous customers. The location is convenient, but room management is poor.

The food options within walking distance are hard to beat, and the place itself is new and clean. But Gerbang Malam is so close that noise carried on into the early morning and kept me from sleeping. The blue LED lights on the switches were also so bright I had to look around for stickers to cover them. Sorry, KY. I stayed one night and didn't sleep well. WiFi isn't included, which could be a problem for foreigners without a data plan. The owner should add cooking utensils, dishwashing liquid and hand soap. There should also be a hanger for shampoo in the shower and somewhere in the bathroom to hang clothes and towels. I hope things improve, but the noise from Gerbang Malam spoiled the stay for me. I don't think I'll return.

I liked the easy self check-in and checkout, along with the secure parking. The one-bedroom apartment is cozy, centrally located, and has a pool, gym and jogging track. In the bathroom there's a bath as well as a separate shower.

We were there for just one night. The location was great, within walking distance of a mall and places to eat, but the room wasn't so good. There was a leak, mold on the walls, and both the sofa and sofa bed were sagging.

It's a nice place in Ipoh, right in the city center, so getting around is easy. Just watch out for the car park ramp. It's very steep and might challenge a young driver.
