Parkview Homes

The price is affordable, but I have doubts about the cleanliness. There were lots of ants on the floor and table, and rubbish from the previous stay hadn't been cleared. Used slippers were left under the bed frame, so I wondered how long it had been since the floor was wiped. To collect the key, we had to drive 5-10 minutes away and get it from the hotel staff ourselves. They told us the homestay rooms were fully booked that weekend, though we didn't see anyone there. The area is somewhat remote, and I felt a bit worried about safety during our stay. It's not gated or guarded.

I slept really well, and for a low price too. The room was very comfortable and in good condition, with everything acceptable to me. A lamp in one of each pair didn't work, the shower room was clogged, and the kettle button was faulty, so I took off a star. Still, I was very satisfied.

I like the room design, and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is small and has no hook for hanging clothes. The sign is tiny, so you'll need to identify the house from the picture.

The house itself was cosy and serene, but I was really disappointed by the service. I had specifically requested an iron, a prayer mat, and the kiblah direction when booking two weeks earlier, and none was provided. Never coming back. At that rate, other homestays could offer much better service.
