The place is affordable, everything worked, and the location was peaceful. Staff were courteous and friendly. The room smelled a little musty at first, but at this price, you get what you pay for. The nighttime soundtrack was another matter: the woman next door was very vocal about her satisfaction. Thin walls, apparently. Bring earplugs, or a notebook, and maybe leave the kids at home. Not a grand hotel, but definitely an experience.
The rooms really need to be smell-free. The smell is disgusting, lah.
The room’s air conditioning was warm, and there were no toiletries provided, especially disappointing for the price of the hotel.
For a budget hotel, don’t expect too much. The toilet had dark stains and wasn’t very clean, voices from next door carried through, and the parking spaces were too narrow. On the plus side, there’s a smart TV with Wi-Fi, connecting rooms are available, and it’s near Petronas and McD.
The fire exit door was always locked, and a male staff member warned us not to open it. In an emergency, you could be trapped. Find another hotel with an easy escape route.
