1969 Business Suites @ Ipoh Garden

We were glad to have stayed only two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the guard who escorted us to reception when we arrived. Our room was quite dark, though I’m not sure if all the rooms are like that. Dark grey walls and warm yellow lighting didn’t work well together. On the good side, the aircon and ceiling fan cooled the room quickly, and the bed, pillows, and shower were all comfortable or worked perfectly. Maybe there weren’t enough guests for a proper breakfast, so we got an à la carte meal instead. The menu had only three options, none of them very exciting, and the cooking oil smell in the breakfast area was really strong. The internet was unstable and sometimes very weak. One note: the 100 ringgit deposit is fully refunded.

Breakfast was simple but decent, and the location is excellent, near restaurants and public transport. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. Parking was limited, but the stay was good value for money and I’d recommend it for a short stay. I was there for one night.

I didn’t expect much, but the service and hospitality really surprised me. The place was clean and felt secure, and the location is strategic. They also have convenient free parking on site. I’d definitely book here again.

The management team was quick to respond, and Manjit in particular made me feel welcome and looked after. The service from the whole team was very good. Rooms are clean, cozy, and comfortable, and we had a good stay. I’ll choose this place whenever I plan a family trip to Ipoh, and will definitely visit again. Thumbs up to everyone.
