Nice surroundings and a spacious room with a comfortable bed. It had a mini fridge and an iron, and everything else was good too. The only issue is the fully tiled floor, which gets a bit slippery, especially just after coming out of the bathroom. They could put down a carpet or change the flooring. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

The room at The wang hotel was spacious, and everything felt clean, from the room to the sheets and towels. The AC worked well, the bathroom had the basics, and the TV came with proper ASTRO channels. We also had a proper balcony, which made for a really good stay. Getting around is the drawback: it’s almost 4 km from pantai Cenang, so you need your own car or bike. The road there felt very dark and scary at night.

For a budget trip, this place is clean, new, and quiet, and it’s not too far from Cenang beach. But it really is a 2 star hotel, and the low price is about all it offers. We paid RM240 for one family room for four people for 3D2N. There’s no room service, the toilet is basic, and the WiFi was weak on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I might stay somewhere else next time.

The place is calm, and my mom enjoyed staying here. The WiFi was very good, and the room was okay, though the tiled floor felt cool. A carpet or parket would be a nice addition. Cenang is around 3-4km away, and nearby there’s a roti canai restaurant called nelayan. The roti canai was delicious, with really nice gravy.

It’s a new resort and the staff were helpful and nice. The price was cheap, I rented for (8) in July 2018 for 1121 RM. The downside is how far it is from shopping and dining, so you need transportation to get anywhere.
