Ambong Pool Villas

The rooftop terrace is stunning, and even though Villa Kemarong isn’t in the most central part of town, it’s easy to get a short Grab to wherever you need to go on the island. The staff were so sweet and welcoming, and our room was just right. We loved the little dusky monkeys visiting, even if it meant eating inside our room. Dreaming of coming back very, very soon! 🏝️💙✨

The ocean view from our balcony was incredible, and the room felt like a clean, private little paradise. I loved the king bed with curtains, blackout curtains for sleeping in, the outdoor bathtub and the big pool. The room and bathroom had glass walls, so I could relax and enjoy the view from inside while showering. I had a fantastic two-day stay. The entertainment wasn’t much, but the nature around us made the memories. Every staff member I met was friendly.

The food was special at both breakfast and dinner, and the private pool came with lovely sunrise views and a real sense of privacy. Ambong-Ambong Villas is tucked away in Langkawi but still close to the main attractions, a peaceful hidden gem. A big thank you to Hafiz, Umi, and the whole Ambong team for their friendliness and warm hospitality. We enjoyed every moment and would love to return each year. I hope Ambong-Ambong keeps growing and expands to other islands and resorts. They deserve the success.

Monkeys greeting you at breakfast and tropical birds all around made the forest setting at Ambong feel magical. The staff were warm, attentive and clearly committed to making our stay great. We had a small inconvenience, and manager Ismail went above and beyond to help. Truly outstanding service, and a well-deserved 5-star review.
