The breakfast felt a bit limited for what we paid, but the rest of our two nights was wonderful. The property is still quite new, and we loved the room’s design and ambience. It was really comfortable too, especially the amazingly soft pillows. A relaxing stay that exceeded our expectations, and we’d happily return.

We had a peaceful family getaway here. The resort was beautiful, clean and just right for relaxing. Sir Siva was especially helpful and friendly, making sure things went smoothly from check-in through check-out. His hospitality made the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We’d definitely come again.

We had a lovely 3-day, 2-night escape from KL, staying from 21-23 Jan 2026. Tambuna Retreat had only been open for about two months and has 22 chalets/rooms. It was so quiet and peaceful, with greenery, mountain views and a cool, tranquil feel. Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The room had the basics we needed: a mini fridge, TV, drinking water, snacks, coffee and tea facilities, and wifi. There’s no phone in the room, but communicating through WA worked fine, and our needs were handled almost immediately. Check-in and check-out were smooth. We were welcomed with ice cream and a Tambuna Drinking Glass souvenir, a lovely touch. Ahmad checked us in with warm hospitality and was always ready to help; thanks to him and Manis. Breakfast is the only meal served right now, and it was simple but tasty. You’ll need a car to get out for lunch and dinner. Overall, we had a great time.

We had a memorable stay thanks to the peaceful setting, lovely scenery and thoughtful service. The retreat was quiet and beautiful, with a calm atmosphere that felt refreshing and gave us a chance to recharge. After checking out, Victor kindly drove us to the entrance so our Grab could pick us up, since the resort is set a bit deep in. We arrived at night and Teha welcomed us at the counter, then drove the buggy for us. She was patient and kind, and made us feel at home straight away. Later that night we were surprised with complimentary ice cream. Victor was just as friendly and gracious at checkout, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I’d absolutely recommend this place to family and friends, and we’d definitely return.
