There aren’t many food choices nearby, so plan meals ahead. The room had no window and felt confined, and sounds from the hallway and road came through clearly. On the plus side, the location is extremely convenient for events or graduation at UTM, and basic things like a water dispenser and heater are provided.

I booked at the last minute on a weekend, and the price, location, and room availability are why I gave it five stars. It’s not a five-star hotel.

We paid RM101 for one Queen and one King bed, and the clean, affordable room felt worth the price. The lobby staff were friendly, and being set back from the main road meant little car or motorcycle noise at night, so we slept well. The water heater didn’t work and I was freezing, but everything else was okay during our pleasant one-night stay.

It was good value for three people, but there wasn’t much else to it. Staff were okay, though not very friendly or welcoming, and you could hear people talking outside because the room wasn’t soundproof.
