V8 Hotel

Ms. Nur was especially helpful, with clear, straightforward instructions and an easy check-in. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the view was great. The hotel had enough amenities for a comfortable, convenient stay, plus a nice swimming pool and well-equipped gym. I had a very pleasant, smooth experience at the V8 Hotel and would definitely recommend it.

The hotel felt like a real gem: big, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. There's a welcoming lobby, a receptionist, a security officer, and designated outdoor parking spaces. The location is great, and I had a very pleasant stay. I'd come back and would book without hesitation. I won't regret it.

The hotel has the basics covered, and the building looks good from outside, not shabby. There's a child-friendly pool, a basic gym, and a lobby restaurant. Breakfast buffet is RM19, which I thought was good value. The bed was comfortable, the curtains blocked light well, and water pressure was okay. The bathroom only had a small bottle of shampoo and shower gel. Nearby, there are several places to eat, including McDonald's, KFC, Zus Coffee, and a hawker centre right next to the hotel.

The problems carried on through three room changes, and there was no apology or real effort to make things right. In the last room, the sheets were stained and had hair from previous guests on them again. One employee seemed sorry and helped move some of our bags. The first room had no towels or floor rug, stained sheets with someone else’s hair, and towels that looked discolored when held up to the light. The TV remote was a different brand from the TV and difficult to use, and the cabinet had no hangers. On the second night, the air conditioner leaked twice. The second leak kept dripping so badly that we gave up and asked to move at midnight, then waited a long time. The next room had a strange air conditioner noise that worried us, plus a problem with the toilet sink. We asked for another room with the basic things working. We only got it at 1 a.m., after calling reception three times to hurry them along. Nobody helped with our bags that time. There’s a night eatery downstairs for food if you’re hungry, but it closes at 11 p.m. There are a few other shops too.
