The eateries nearby are handy, including a popular nasi kerabu/nasi Kak Wok spot and a mamak restaurant, though you have to cross the very busy gelang Patah road to reach them. I stayed in both a tatami room and a junior suite. The tatami room was a decent size with enough facilities, but having no table or racks made computer work awkward. The junior suite was more comfortable and convenient. Rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the internet is strong, and the staff are always cheerful and welcoming. For the price, it's a good budget option with above-average comfort and amenities. A few improvements to the room furnishings would help.

Parking is plentiful and free, and the rooms are fairly roomy and comfortable. A few restaurants are close by, though I didn't really like the food. We picked this hotel for the last night of our self-drive trip because it's right off the Highway. Watch the left turn, then turn again straight away or you might miss the entrance. I'd book through the official BZZ website instead of agoda or trip agents.

There are lots of interesting food choices and less mainstream shops nearby, even though the place feels quaint and off the beaten track. The staff were really friendly too. I liked it a lot and will come back.

Staff were helpful and friendly when I checked in. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed, and it was easy to get to local food and transport. It's also close to the university, so the location worked well for me. Very pleasant stay for the money, and I'd stay again.
