Embun Luxury Villas

The villa itself was spacious and felt luxurious, but a few details didn’t match the resort’s price tag. By the pool there were only two loungers, with no chairs or table, and the master bathroom had no hand soap. Breakfast was a letdown too: oily sweet potatoes, cordial instead of fresh orange juice, and the apple juice never came. The sausage, jam and other condiments seemed more like what I’d expect at a three-star place, and there wasn’t any salt or pepper. We came as five friends celebrating a milestone and chose embun villas for its luxury reputation. It’s a lovely setting, and more attentive service and care with the details would make a real difference.

We only had one night here because we were in town for my friend’s wedding, so there wasn’t time to experience everything. Even a few hours at the property left me feeling refreshed, and the staff were so kind. The atmosphere was lovely, too. A heads-up for anyone considering an isolated villa: the short walk to reception is extremely steep, so it may not suit older guests or people with mobility issues. Just something to keep in mind. I’d come back when I can afford it! 😆😆

The staff were really nice and the service was very good. It’s a lovely location with nice facilities, though some maintenance is needed.

It’s only a short drive from KL, but the peaceful setting among nature feels like another world. The place is beautiful and serene, and the staff were kind and quick to help with what we needed. Waking up surrounded by nature was such a lovely way to get away.
