My kids had a great time and already want to visit again. There’s plenty to do over a two-day, one-night stay: fish feeding, swimming, time by the river, a playground, fishing, ping pong and pickleball, plus board games including congkak, sahibba, uno and carrom. These activities don’t cost extra, but let reception know ahead if you want to book one. Breakfast was enough for us, with three main dishes as well as bread, cereal, nuggets, kuih, tea and coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is spread out and has a lot of steep stairs, so bear that in mind if you’re bringing older family members. There are wheelchairs and buggies available, if I remember correctly. Mobile reception is very limited, and there’s no WiFi in the rooms, so you have to use the WiFi points around the resort. Bring mosquito patches for children, too. There are lots of mosquitoes, though the rooms do have electric repellents. The cafe food is a little pricey.

The river is shallow enough for kids to play in, and the pool was clean as well. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and very clean, and the staff were friendly and explained the resort and its activities clearly. Meals were mixed: dinner was delicious with lots of choices, breakfast had fewer options but tasted good, and lunch was limited with no rice available. My only real disappointment was the room rate, which felt a bit high. Still, I enjoyed this short getaway.

It was quiet and pretty, just right for unwinding. I especially liked the clean river, with plenty of gazebos nearby to sit and relax. The resort and its facilities were clean and well cared for, and the room service food was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We felt the stay was worth the money and would recommend it.
