We had a good stay: the breakfast, atmosphere and facilities were all great, and it’s kid-friendly. They even put on movies on a big screen at night. One small suggestion: it would help to have a simple wardrobe or somewhere to hang clothes in the room. I couldn’t find a place for that apart from in the toilet.

The village-like atmosphere and activities kept the children happy. There’s a river, a fish pond, a basic swimming pool for kids and a small garden with children’s toys. Breakfast was about what I’d expect from a three-star hotel.

The rooms and overall property feel a little run down, though still acceptable. The wooden rooms could do with better soundproofing, and the shower pressure wasn’t strong enough. Staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet had the same kinds of dishes each day. Still, it’s a good place for a family stay.

The room was okay, but the cleanliness and tidiness of both the surroundings and room need work. The bedsheets, blanket and pillow could be improved too, including making them a standard colour.

Tucked near the main road in Kampung Janda Baik, this place makes a convenient weekend escape. It has a cozy feel and handy amenities, with options to relax by the pool or check out the on-site mini zoo. The staff are friendly and easy to deal with, which made the stay more enjoyable.
