The hotel offers plenty of facilities for a four-star place, including a mini spa and massage salon, a poolside pub or cafe, and a gym. Food is all around, and there's a 7-11 for basic necessities, so you can walk out instead of driving. The buffet didn't have much variety, but the food was nice. The rooms, though, weren't even worth one star. The corridor between the car park lift and rooms smelled, and rubbish was left beside the lift. Our room smelled moldy and sweaty when we opened the door, and the room and bedding were dirty. The pillows and bed were moldy, which is especially bad with kids. It really didn't meet a four-star standard. The reviews are genuine.

Amerin Hotel Johor Bahru is our regular pick for a short family getaway, and we had a wonderful stay again. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and breakfast that never disappoints. There's lots of delicious food nearby too. We keep coming back ❤️

The stay at Amerin Hotel was terrible from the start, and I wouldn't recommend it. The car park was dark, run-down and had peeling paint; some spaces were being used for storage, which made it feel neglected and unsafe. Inside, ironing boards cluttered the aisle to the rooms. Then, right outside my room, a couple took off their shoes and sat there, which felt very uncomfortable and inappropriate for a hotel. The room had old stains on the bedsheets, and the toilet holder had fallen off while the shower holder was loose and clearly hadn't been maintained. Noise from outside came through so clearly that I couldn't sleep. The hotel seems dilapidated and poorly cared for, and wasn't worth the money. I'd strongly advise staying elsewhere.

The room was decent, but the overall layout feels tired. I wish breakfast had more variety. There is food nearby, though the choices are limited.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the Deluxe King came with two breakfasts included. We found the price good for what we got, and the hotel is handy for AEON Bukit Indah, Paradigm Mall and Sutera Mall. There’s free parking in the hotel’s own multistorey carpark. Since it’s beside a main road, though, you may hear traffic if your room faces it. We’d stay again for a short break.
