We'd booked a two-week stay for SGD 700, fully confirmed and paid, for work and leisure. Just before check-in, management cancelled without giving a valid reason, and almost immediately the same property appeared again for nearly twice the price. When we asked what had happened, they wouldn't explain and simply told us to contact Booking.com customer service. Booking.com's response came much later and offered only MYR 220 toward a new booking. That token amount didn't come close to covering our losses or the disruption to our plans. The cancellation at the last minute was chaotic, and the way management handled it felt unethical, opportunistic, and inconsiderate. The five-star reviews also seem curated and give a misleading impression of a trustworthy host. Looking at the replies to honest customer feedback, I found them sarcastic, defensive, and unprofessional. Book at your own risk. This was one of the most frustrating and dishonest booking experiences I've had, and I won't return.

The host was helpful and friendly, and the apartment was clean and comfortable in a good spot, close to shops and public. I'd definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
