I’ve stayed here more than five times, and the visits have all been just as good. The rooms aren’t perfect, but they suit me, and I enjoy how quiet and peaceful they are. The surroundings are lovely, and it’s easy to find parking. The restaurant downstairs stays open past midnight, so there’s always somewhere to get a meal. What keeps me coming back is the team. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and housekeeping does an outstanding job. The rooms are always spotless, and they really take care of things. Shoutout to housekeeping, they’re fantastic. I’ve seen other reviews calling the staff terrible, but I honestly can’t understand that. Maybe those guests had unrealistic expectations. I’m really happy with the team. After staying at many hotels around Johor Bahru, I think this is one of the best, definitely a top-tier budget hotel if you compare 10 hotels.

We booked for a whole month, but the price doesn’t match the quality. The bathroom was moldy, the fan didn’t work, and there was a sewer smell. The room was absolutely unclean. Reception was so rude, and the service was bad. The whole hotel felt creepy and empty, and I didn’t feel safe. Don’t even bother booking there!

There’s a lift to the upper floors, and they provided a hair dryer near the TV. The iron was out in the hallway. But I was disappointed with the room: the air conditioning wasn’t cold at all and I sweated constantly. The bathroom was the main problem, with no proper sink drainage, so wastewater ran onto the floor. There was no mini fridge either.

The price wasn’t worth it. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, even worse than Singapore’s Hotel 81.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They were great about bringing fresh towels and coffee. Best value I found in JB.
