The location is excellent, right beside Aeon mall and within walking distance of Toppen Shopping Centre and Lotus's. Staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had hot water and good pressure. It’s a comfortable, basic hotel. Some fixtures need replacing, though: the shower head holder was loose and the sink was a little cracked. There was no hand soap in the toilet, only shower gel and shampoo. Also, rooms on the second floor have no elevator.

We slept well both nights, and that kind of rest is worth a lot. Our king room was spacious and clean, with a mattress that wasn’t too soft and an air conditioner that seemed well maintained. Service was good. There’s no fridge or slippers, and an extra pillow costs RM5 per night. For the price and location, though, it’s a great deal. Go in without big expectations and you won’t be disappointed.

The room had no window, and that wasn’t disclosed when I booked. There were ashtrays in the room despite the no-smoking policy, and I could clearly smell smoke coming from the corridor. The rooms are all on one level, reached only by stairs. When I told reception, she shrugged and said there were no other rooms. Her only suggestion was to spray mine, rather than check which room might have had smokers. Dismal and completely unacceptable. I’ll leave a similar scathing review with Trip.com. For the price, you can get much better value elsewhere.

A good, affordable place to stop overnight after a trip to Taman Mount Austin or Aeon. It’s just behind Aeon.
