My friend recently stayed here and saw two cockroaches in the room, one in the daytime and another at night. The first one was crawling on the bedsheet. When they told the front desk, the staff member didn't apologize or show concern, and refused to help change the contaminated bedding, saying the person who changes sheets had "finished work." They didn't offer another option or try to find someone who could help. My friend was left to sleep on sheets with a roach on them. Only after a second cockroach turned up later that night did the next shift let them change rooms. It took two roaches and a lot of distress to get even that basic response. Seeing two in the same room made it seem like more than a one-off and raised a real hygiene concern. The first staff member's lack of empathy, apology, or problem-solving was disgraceful. Refusing to change bedding a cockroach had crawled on was negligent. This suggests poor hygiene and pest control, and staff who aren't prepared or empowered to handle basic guest concerns or health issues. The place felt unfit for guests, with multiple cockroaches and such indifference. Don't risk your health, comfort, or money here. Management should be ashamed.

I used to be a regular, but hadn't been back to this hotel for more than 5 years. The reception noticed my record showed I was a VIP member, though they no longer have that since a management reshuffle. I had errands in the area, so I booked without hesitation. I'm glad I did. The hotel is still as squeaky clean as before. I always wipe surfaces with a wet tissue in hotels, and this time, just one tissue was enough. I couldn't find a dusty spot. Well done, keep the place fantastic as usual. The long-serving staff always give a warm welcome.

For a single night on a tight budget, this worked for me. The room had the basics, including a proper shower and air conditioning, which felt worth the slightly higher price.
