The hotel's name fits, it's very fragrant, and the hotel is clean. The room service needs work, though. They made the bed nicely but left the toilet floor unclean. I asked the room service staff to do it again, and they did a good job. The hotel is very affordable and in a strategic location.

The room was clean, the staff were nice, and the hotel is close to the city center. I had a pleasant stay and would come back when I visit JB. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a laundry right beside the hotel. The water heater was there, but I couldn't turn it on. It wasn't a big deal.

I've stayed here several times, but my recent request to check out one day early was refused even though I'd paid in full. I hadn't paid for flexible booking, but I still feel the property could have used its discretion. Be very careful with the terms and conditions if booking through Booking.com. I'm extremely disappointed. If you're from outside Johor, take note that this area is prone to flooding.

The room was clean and comfortable, with restaurants all around. Da Kolam Air mosque is within walking distance.

I've stayed here quite a few times, and I find it much better than other 2-star hotels I've tried. The location is excellent, close enough to JB city center but away from noisy traffic. Restaurants are nearby, and a 24-hour laundry shop has opened recently. The room is big enough for a couple on a short stay, with plenty of space to pray. The aircond and TV work as they should.
