The room was clean, and there’s a big mall nearby. Security was pleasant, and the lift worked fine for me. The broken fridge and couch that smelled like wet socks kept this from being a great stay, though.

Cracks have appeared in several places, and despite repeated complaints, nothing has been done about them. The current Property Management Company is managing the building poorly.

I wouldn’t recommend this AirBnB, especially with so few visitor parking spots. I also had a frustrating wait for the lift late at night. The resident lift needs an access card, and it was parked at the G floor while both visitor lifts were on other floors. When I pressed the button, only the resident lift opened. I asked the night guard, a woman who speaks Mandarin, if she could move it so I could take a visitor lift up. She said she had no access card and told me to wait for someone to come down. I waited 20 minutes, until around 11:45 p.m. The owner later told me she was the security manager. She was watching a drama at the time. Her attitude was really bad.

The high-floor unit had an open view, with a natural breeze and a quiet atmosphere. I rented it for a short stay and was impressed by the security at Raffles Suite, which is kept tight for residents’ safety. The cleaners also keep the public corridors very clean. I’d consider buying a unit here to live in.
