Stella Hotel by OYO Rooms

I booked two rooms, and there was mould throughout them. They were dark and a bit dingy, nothing like the photos. I also had to wash the A/C filters myself to get cooler, cleaner air. I’m not sure how this hotel got a 4-star rating.

I was left speechless by the room. The sink was nearly falling off, and when I raised the safety concern, nothing was done. As I turned away from the reception counter, a staff member laughed loudly. Is that how they treat guests who report a safety issue? There were cobwebs in the bathroom too. It makes me wonder when it was last cleaned.

You can see and smell the mould, which is the main problem. Since many rooms have no windows to air out, I’d suggest putting in dehumidifiers. Otherwise the room is generally nice, and for that price I wasn’t expecting a lot.

We stayed two nights at Stella Hotel, a corner shoplot in a residential area with plenty of parking. The room was clean and decent, with a kettle, instant coffee, cups, a water dispenser, toiletries, and other amenities. Food choices are limited, so you’ll need to drive out for better options. The front desk service from Tasha was warm and excellent. She did her best to help with our requests. Fantastic service, Tasha, keep it up.
