I came expecting a rough stay after reading the reviews, and even packed my own blanket and sheet. The room turned out to look hygienic, the bed had no smell, and the view was nice. The TV isn't smart, but there's a dongle for streaming. Food is easy to find nearby, and the local baju raya shops are within walking distance, which makes this especially handy for shopping. The huge swimming pool is another plus. This is a regular guesthouse, not a luxury one. The place feels old, perhaps not upgraded in around 10 years, though everything still works. I spotted small cockroaches in the toilet, as other reviews mentioned, and the toilet could be better maintained or upgraded. There are few plug points, so the TV and Wi-Fi have to share. The towels are old and started smelling after I used them for a while. That's why I'd give it four stars. I'd consider staying again, mainly for the convenient access to the baju raya shops.

There were cockroaches in the rooms, and the furniture, walls, and floor were dirty. As for the pool, they keep saying it's under maintenance, but I don't think it'll ever reopen. Don't waste your money.

The room smelled musty, the TV didn't work even though the listing says “SMART TV,” and the Wi-Fi was painfully slow. The staff were very rude too. I messaged on Monday and only got a reply on Friday, and even asking for directions took ages. If you take the job, do it properly. If you don't want it, just resign, nobody will care. Attitude: -100/10. Wouldn't recommend 👎👎👎

The price was very reasonable, and there are shops and a market beneath the unit. The place was comfortable, with a microwave, washing machine, and refrigerator. The pool on level 10 is big, and I loved it. You don't need proper swimwear to use it. Just be ready to follow quite a lot of rules since it's a private place. Toiletries aren't provided, apart from shower cream, so bring your own shampoo, toothbrush, and shower cap.
