Era Plus Hotel

I was told reception is unattended from midnight until morning, and given an access card to get in and out of the hotel. The shower worked very well and the sink area was clean, but there was moss in the bathroom bidai and dark spots on the toilet bowl, which hadn't been cleaned properly.

The area around the hotel was run-down, messy, dirty, and smelly, with lots of foreign workers and rubbish. At night it was very dark, with almost no streetlights. I took photos of what I saw. Inside, there were cockroaches, the ceiling and washroom were worn and dirty, and the bed had collapsed and didn't support my back. The mattress cover and blanket were a bit dirty too. The safety door hook and curtain were broken or damaged. The hotel needs major improvements inside and out.

It's a cozy, pleasant place. It isn't a five-star hotel, but the service and everything else made it feel that way to me. The staff were especially friendly. Best hotel I've stayed at around Cheras so far. Loved it!

The commercial-area setting was still clean, and the rooms and corridors were well maintained. Amenities were available, though there were no facilities inside the room.
