La Putri Boutique Hotel

The location is handy, right around the center of Bangi, with lots of restaurants and upscale shop lots nearby and a big mall across the road. Service was good enough, though there are a few things to improve. The room was tidy-looking but dusty, and I had to ask twice before getting a towel. There were no toiletries or plastic bin, and both the toilet door handle and closet handle were broken. The atmosphere was just okay for a one-night stay.

The bathroom floor felt slippery and like it hadn't been washed. The pillowcase was yellowish and unpleasant to lie on, and the towel was old and worn and should be replaced. The air conditioning, door security, and shower were all good.

I come to this outlet about once a month or every month and a half, and the food quality has stayed consistent. This time I had the murtabak kambing, which I'd rate 4½. The setup is nice, clean, and bright. Service is good too, around a 4, though I sometimes have trouble understanding the foreign waiters. There's plenty of paid public parking. Malaysian drivers could be more considerate and civic-minded, though.

The bathroom was good, and there was a water machine for visitors, plus an iron. But the queen room is seriously tiny. The bed takes up nearly 92% of the room, and with four adults we could barely fit inside. The staff didn't seem very sincere in dealing with us, though that's fine. The Wi-Fi barely worked. The layout also wasn't suitable for Muslim guests, since the kiblat meant having to pray on the bed.
