We could keep our bikes in the room, which was a plus. It’s a basic room, and the hotel is 7km from the start and finish point of the Lekas Highway Night Ride. There are lots of food options right outside, from local favorites to well-known fast food. I stayed overnight after taking part in the ride.

The location is handy, with lots of food nearby and a train station close by. The room was spacious and fairly clean, but it felt old. There aren’t enough power points for charging devices, and the plastic protective film is still on the lampshades. The electrical wires to the wall lights also hang loose.

There are lots of places to eat outside the hotel, and the staff were friendly. My room was comfortable and clean, without a musty or bleach smell. The night view was phenomenal. The bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work, but that wasn’t a big issue. The TV had about 20 channels, including local ones.

The air conditioner in the room was weak and musty, and there was a musty smell throughout the hotel. It’s very run-down and dated, with furnishings that looked about two decades old. I’d be better off choosing another hotel.

There are some hidden food gems nearby, including German pork knuckle, a bakery, vegetarian options, and Indian food and accessories. It’s a pretty good three-star hotel. If you can, book a room with a bathtub, which comes with either a king-size bed or two single beds.
