The sheets and towels looked yellowed, and the hygiene wasn't good. If you have sensitive skin and can choose somewhere else, I'd stay elsewhere.

I asked for a room change or another bed after finding the mattress sagged badly in the middle. They said the hotel was full and offered a temporary floor bed, the sort meant for extra guests, for RM50. I wasn't asking for an extra bed; the main one was unusable and gave me back pain. It was ridiculous to expect me to pay because of the hotel's poor maintenance.

The room was clean, the air con worked well, and it cost RM105 for a twin room for me and my mom for one night. But the bathroom floor gets wet all over after a shower, and the ventilation fan is so loud we had to turn it off. Our view was the nearby cemetery, though that wasn't a big deal. What made this a one-star stay was the front desk service. Close to midnight, tired and ready to sleep, my mom and I found that neither of the two plugs by the bed would charge our phones. After more than 10 minutes, the battery levels had actually dropped. I called down and asked to change rooms. The staff member said every room was occupied, came up with her own charger head, and said nobody had complained before. She seemed to blame my charger or phone. We eventually found a working plug for the kettle, farther from the bed, but there was only that one outlet for both phones. At checkout, I asked another front desk worker if the hotel really had been full. She said four large rooms were available. So they had rooms after all, and had lied to me. Neither staff member apologized, and both made it sound like the problem was mine. I won't stay here again.

Parking is plentiful, and the hotel itself is clean, but you need to pay for parking. We got confused because there are two hotels with the same name in different locations, and went to the wrong one in heavy rain. Sleep was difficult. The hotel is beside a main road, so traffic and especially honking come through clearly because the soundproofing is poor. Housekeeping was noisy from 8 am, slamming doors, and contractors began banging on walls around 8:30 am. It went on, and we couldn't sleep. Why not start renovation work at noon, after checkout? The check-in clerk wasn't much help when we asked for twin beds. We had specified them in the booking, but she said to follow the booking photo. I won't come back.

The room was clean and had good facilities, with mugs and a kettle, though no coffee or tea. The water pressure was good, but the water was quite noisy. There aren't many breakfast places within walking distance unless you drive. Remember to buy a parking ticket in case the city council checks.
