Kampar Boutique Hotel

For the price, this hotel is a great deal and is kept in impressive shape. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the bed was one of the best we've slept in at this price range. Service was good, there's a lift, and several good non-halal restaurants are nearby.

The view of the historic town and surrounding hills from the window gave the stay a lovely touch. I found Kampar Boutique Hotel in the old town comfortable and welcoming, with a clean, well-kept room, a very comfortable bed, and soft pillows. Its location also made it handy for exploring the old town and nearby attractions.

This was my second stay, and the cleanliness was very good. I booked four nights through agoda at a very reasonable price, and although I selected a room without a window, they gave me a very comfortable room with one when I arrived. The bed was comfortable, and the friendly staff accommodated all our requests. They also kept reminding us to pay for parking so we wouldn't get fined. I came for a programme at the gurdwara, which was within walking distance, so the location suited me especially well. Everything was perfect, apart from one night when a baby cockroach flew into the room. The front office guy came right away and rescued us from it.

They even let me keep my bicycle safely in a large room behind reception. The staff were friendly, and my room was spotless, with a good shower and air con. A very pleasant stay.
